About the role
Keep the yard moving. Spot trailers at the dock, stage outbound loads, and support drivers and dispatch through the shift.
What you'll do
- Move trailers between yard, docks, and parking using a yard tractor.
- Hook and unhook trailers and verify reefer set-points.
- Stage outbound loads to match the night's dispatch plan.
- Conduct yard checks and report any equipment issues.
- Keep the yard organized, safe, and snow-cleared in winter.
What we're looking for
- Class A CDL preferred; yard-hostler experience considered without CDL.
- Comfortable with backing, blind-side moves, and tight dock approaches.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Reliable, safety-first attitude.
